Today I attended a very interesting workshop by an American Teacher Trainer David Green. One topic was about using technology in education. I really think that there are inexhaustible opportunities of the virtual world opening up, and I'm going to explore and enjoy it with the help of this course

Many people warn us of the possible harmful effects of using technology in the classroom. The same was probably said with the invention of the printing press, radio, and television. All of these can be used inappropriately, but all of them have given humanity unbounded access to information which can be turned into knowledge. Appropriately used-- interactively and with guidance-- they have become tools for the development of higher order thinking skills.
ReplyDeleteI do know, though, is that technology is beating at the door and is here to stay. Technological advances will not only make our lives easier, they will change the way we live and think. And while it will be later rather than sooner, this will happen in our classrooms too.
